The role of Wenzhou packaging machines in conveying and screening out large particulate foreign objects from cement

Author:

The Wenzhou packaging machine is equipped with a vibrating screen installed at the top, which serves to convey materials and separate larger foreign particles from the cement, preventing these impurities from entering the machine and causing the rotating components to jam. Daily maintenance of the vibrating screen is relatively straightforward—simply add about 100 grams of grease into the bearing housing every week at scheduled intervals. Additionally, inspect the screen mesh once a month; if cracks or holes are detected, replace the mesh promptly. If edges or corners of the mesh become loose or warped, re-tighten the retaining strips—but if tightening no longer holds, it’s time to replace the entire mesh. Furthermore, if during operation of the Wenzhou packaging machine, the compartment wheel feeder or the cement nozzle feed impeller becomes blocked by foreign objects, immediately stop the machine to prevent further damage.

Daily maintenance of the vibrating screen is relatively straightforward—simply add about 100 grams of grease to the bearing housing on a regular weekly basis. Additionally, inspect the screen mesh once a month; if cracks or holes are detected, replace the mesh immediately. If edges or corners of the screen become loose or warped, re-tighten the retaining strips—but if tightening no longer holds, it’s time to replace the entire screen. Furthermore, if during operation of the Wenzhou packaging machine, the compartment wheel feeder or the cement nozzle feed impeller becomes blocked by foreign objects, promptly stop the machine, perform an inspection, and replace the vibrating screen mesh without delay.
The packaging machine in Wenzhou features a drive system where the motor is connected to a stepless gearbox, which in turn drives the gear box via a V-belt. Inside the gear box, the large gear rotates the machine’s main shaft. This rotating component is typically reliable and rarely malfunctions—however, it’s still important to inspect the V-belt and ensure proper lubrication of the gearbox during scheduled production downtime. Inspection intervals can be adjusted flexibly based on production needs, but at a minimum, the system should be checked once every month.
It's important to note that a continuously variable transmission adjusts the speed by varying the clamping force on the pulleys—tightening increases the output speed, while loosening decreases it. However, since there’s relative motion between the drive belt and the pulleys, prolonged use can lead to wear on both the pulleys and the belt, potentially causing slippage or even complete loss of power transmission. Therefore, the transmission should be regularly inspected for signs of pulley and belt wear, and spare parts should be kept ready. This inspection should be scheduled concurrently with checks on the gearbox and the main spindle belt.
Because the bottom bearings of the Wenzhou packaging machine require access through the dust collection hopper at the base for inspection, they are often overlooked during routine maintenance. If these bottom bearings become damaged, it can impair the machine’s rotational flexibility—and in severe cases, even lead to the main shaft seizing up and causing further damage. Therefore, these bearings should be inspected and lubricated, as well as their seals checked, at least twice a year. Additionally, if you notice increased resistance during operation or find that the machine cannot be easily pushed by one person when idle, it’s crucial to promptly check whether the bearings have been compromised.
