What are the common malfunctions of wet wipe packaging machines? (Part 3)

During operation, the wet wipe packaging machine is producing a "squeaking" sound. This issue occurs specifically during the sealing process, and the squeak often happens unexpectedly—followed by inconsistent sealing speeds, resulting in uneven pressure marks on the sealed edges of the packaging bags and ultimately compromising the product's aesthetic quality. Occasionally, the machine may even function normally for a short while, but its performance remains highly erratic.

3, Wet Wipe Packaging Machine A "squeaking" sound occurs during operation. This issue arises while the sealing machine is running and typically happens suddenly. Following the squeak, the sealing speed becomes uneven, leading to poor texture in the sealed area of the packaging bag and ultimately affecting the product's visual quality. Occasionally, the machine may even function normally for a short time—but its performance remains highly inconsistent.

Wet Wipe Machine This phenomenon is mostly caused by severe damage or wear to the wet wipe packaging machine, as well as inadequate lubrication. First, locate the source of the malfunction by following the sound it produces. After removing the back protective panel, we discovered that the "squeaking" noise was coming from the gearbox. By carefully unscrewing each retaining bolt one by one, we noticed that the grease inside the gearbox had completely dried out, leaving the gears gleaming brightly—clear evidence that the root cause of the problem was a lack of lubrication. To resolve the issue, we mixed the same type of motor oil with fresh grease and carefully refilled the gearbox. Finally, after tightening all the screws and reassembling the unit, we restarted the machine—and sure enough, the squeaking sound disappeared, and the sealing function returned to normal.

Additionally, if the joints of the wet wipe packaging machine’s heating belt are loose, severely worn, dirty, or have debris on their surface—and thus fail to synchronize with the traction rollers during operation—they may occasionally produce a "squeaking" sound. The solution is to replace the heating belt with one of the same specifications. Replacing the heating belt does require some skill and expertise.

First, compress the pressure wheel spring by hand. Then, place one end of the high-temperature belt onto the rubber roller, while holding the other end steady against the second rubber roller with your hand. Set the speed regulator to low speed, and as soon as you start it up, the high-temperature belt will automatically align itself into position thanks to the machine’s momentum. Occasionally, a "squeaking" sound may also be emitted by the DC shunt motor—likely due to insufficient lubrication in the motor bearings. If this is the case, simply disassemble the motor, add fresh oil to the bearings, and the noise should disappear.

4. Loss of Temperature Control at Sealing: This malfunction manifests as a faulty temperature display, making it impossible to regulate the sealing temperature. The heat-sealing temperature becomes inconsistent—resulting in either burnt edges or weak, unreliable seals at the sealing area, along with noticeable deformation that makes the finished product look unappealing. The primary cause of this issue is likely a defective thermometer, which must be repaired. Additionally, the thermocouple may also be damaged, preventing it from accurately transmitting the sensed temperature to the thermometer.

Simply replace the thermocouple with one of the same model and specifications. As for the wet wipe packaging machine, the mechanical issue stems from uneven heat-sealing pressure—this can be easily resolved by adjusting the pressure spring on the sealing blade to ensure consistent pressure across the surface. Additionally, the contact surface of the sealing blade should always be kept clean and free of any residue or dirt. Another potential cause is poor heat-sealing quality inherent in the composite material itself, which may lead to fluctuations in the heat-sealing coefficient, resulting in inconsistent temperatures being applied during the process.
